A regular public hearing was held at the State Ecological Expertise Agency.

The event, organized with the participation of representatives of state institutions, environmentalists, NGOs, and the media, addressed issues arising from the implementation of the “State Program for the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku and Surrounding Areas for 2025–2030.” In this context, environmental assessments were carried out for several projects: the construction of the section of the Pirshagi–Novkhani–Khirdalan–M4 highway passing through the territories of Fatmai village, Jeyranbatan settlement, and Khirdalan city; the construction of a new road interchange on the Alat–Astara highway at the turn to Alat Airport; and the regulation of the Pirsaat River channel within the Alat Free Economic Zone.

During the public hearing, the environmental impacts of the projects were evaluated, and issues related to the relocation of part of the affected green areas, as well as compensation for the restoration value of those that cannot be relocated, were discussed. The discussions continued with proposals from experts and questions from journalists.
